Pros

Salary (Base + 30% + travel allowance (~$15k) + 10% of base bonus) - puts a graduate mine eng on around $160k - experienced eng on ~$200k Benefits (Paid Parental Leave, basic share match program after 3 years) Annual Leave - 3 swings for FIFO employees

Cons

Meetings on meetings on meetings. So much time spent of making sure everyone feels good rather than cracking on and getting work done. Nonsense bonus system which employee has little to no influence on, which. Constant reminder of how all employees (male) are bad and we all need to "do better". Gender targets take precedence over skills and dedication to a ones career - leaders/managers have to make an extremely strong case to put a male into any promotion situation, makes a complete mockery of the requirement to do a development plan.
