Pros

Good work-life-pay balance, good benefits Abundant opportunities to move among business units, among business functions and among countries Plenty of very experienced people in the resources industry, great learning opportunities Not much sense of hierachy, senior people are usually more than happy to coach young employees

Cons

People management can be poor. Continued under performance are not always addressed.

Pros

The offices are generally quite nice and have the staff well looked after, my boss was great, saw that I was a lone wolf and let me be that way

Cons

There was cutbacks while I was there, and while my team didn't see any losses, we moved to a smaller and smaller space every month. You won't see any people two levels above you. The place appears to be run as tiny companies with no overall goal
