Pros

Compensation & benefits. Good for you to grow if you know someone in higher management of if you know how to play office politics.

Cons

Driven by Australians. No career prospects and career path for you if you are a non Australian even if you are located in another region. All top positions are filled by Australians. Highly political. The only way to survive is keep your boss happy and continue playing as much dirty office politics as you can. Performance does not matters.

Pros

Employee benefits and flexible working times are good. The company has huge potential to share knowledge at all levels and build a strong technical base and great leadership. Unfortunately the company doesn't make use of this opportunity.

Cons

Overall company vision is not embraced by individual managers who do not have a clear strategy or vision for their subordinates to embrace creating detachment between company goals and team performance. Inadequate communication with employees on situations directly affecting them.

Pros

The rotation of two and two is fantastic. The money is not bad too. Benefits and pension are good for a large family.

Cons

Micro managed. They tend to hire inexperienced people for upper management roles. They have very little experience in these particular roles and the rotation of this upper management is like a revolving door. No one stays too long in these roles long enough to make a difference, so staff loose interest in their grand ideas when they move into these positions. "Flavour of the month" is the best way to describe it.
