Pros

I worked on several different sites, and each one was very different, so it is difficult to generalise about the company as a whole but: - I worked on some very interesting projects - Most of the teams I worked with were great - Focus on health and safety - Opportunities to move to other locations and countries (although this happens less than it did in the past)

Cons

- Continual pressure to do more with less, lack of much needed investment in some areas - A lot of short-sighted management decisions with little consideration of the impact on employees - A boys club culture in some sectors - Can be difficult to advance your career according to your own interests (management tend to decide what your future will be) - Many managers are technical types with poor people skills - Managers spends so much time in meetings they have little time to actually manage their teams

Pros

Decent wages and benefits.

Cons

Having to work and live in an isolated northern town in Labrador. Company uses the word safety, but is not a priority. Production is their priority.
