Pros

Iron Ore Digital Division is filled with smart, dedicated, people who take pride in their work and care about one another. Super interesting work with lots of autonomy. Good pay. Genuine commitment by managers and supervisors to look after their teams and promote a good work life balance. Genuine effort at all levels of the business to improve impediments to true diversity of people and thought, and to fix long term challenges that have plagued the mining sector. Not there yet in every area, but the commitment to improvement is genuine and tangible. Not just in words from board execs, but from all management that I have dealings with.

Cons

As expected for a organisation of this size, it can be slow to implement meaningful change. Excessive bureaurocracy at times in some areas that limits innovation. Not all parts of the company seem to have the same dynamic and caring culture. Some misalignment at GM level between business areas that can make collaboration across the business difficult.
