Pros

I enjoyed working at Rexall because I was able to expand my retail skills to include learning how to do banking, dealing with difficult customers, and was trusted with keys and passwords.

Cons

I was bumped out through the union by someone with more seniority than I had. No job security. Union seems to protect lazy people and not hard workers.

Pros

- lots of interaction with customers, hence providing opportunity to develop and enhance interpersonal skills - excellent front store and assistant managers - management is more than willing to teach employees more than they need to know with store operations, allowing us to gain skills useful for our future careers - great co-workers - good discount - opportunity to grow as a professional individual, however...

Cons

- no opportunity to 'climb up the ladder' - abundant shoplifters and thieves, with minimal-to-no security - lack of appreciation for good work ethic
