Pros

Great customers, and the staff is very pleasant and kind. Really enjoy the job so far. You get a shirt (uniform) which is nice, therefore you don't have to worry about what to wear to work everyday. They appear to be cooperate with your working hours, and understanding with your shift scheduling. The store gives you discount perks, and my location has a very nice atmosphere. All staff, and management are kind and accommodating.

Cons

Terrible pay!! Frankly too bad, this is why staff never lasts. It appears through research that salary pay for post office clerks is different in all rexal stores, why is this? We work very hard and I make minimum wage? No one knows the postal area and duties accept the clerks that are trained; not even management? Post office is closed if clerks aren't available. I feel that alone explains how difficult the register, and many entries needed to know are. Also, regular corporate Canada post retailers make double our pay and do the same thing. There is tons to know, and if you have a great knowledgable postal clerk who has the system knowledge which in fact is weeks class trained by Canada post cooperate, whereas, rexal is hands on learning on your own by an employee for a few days only?! This is why if you get a trained postal clerk at rexal; then you should seriously pay them more than minimum wage....is management aware of what the job entitles? It's advance, technical major important duties. Major transactions are performed constantly, therefore; if you feel you deserve better than minimum wage for a hard, and high stress job then this is not the job for you. Find a paying job that your hard work well deserves. It requires constant mental clarity, and focus, and customers aren't always pleasant, but it's how you treat them as well.

Pros

They do offer above market rate of pay per hour but that's it.

Cons

Bare bones pharmacy inventory at times, no help, pharmacist must enter, count, label, fill, counsel, cash out, order inventory, throw out garbage, no tech or little tech, put away the order, make mixtures, make and check own blister packs, 13 hr days expect to leave nothing for the next pharmacist or you get a call at home.

Pros

Fancy, professional look....nothing more to add....all are working there as ants. Good benefits, if you're lucky to get them

Cons

They started a new project and all what they care now is how to cut people. And they hire new ones for part time only without any promise of amount of hours.
