Pros

Pay when you've worked with the company long enough, discount on Rexall products are pretty good and we are unionized.

Cons

You are over worked, so much is expected of you. There are not enough hours to go around. It's a very stressful place to work. Some of the rules and policies are pretty out there. Managers are thrown into stores and some haven't even worked for Rexall before. Pharmacy lost so many hours, 90% of the day there is just a pharmacist in the pharmacy and being a cashier you have to deal with the harassment. Management gets paid daily regardless, so most just show up when they please. HR is pretty useless when it comes to solving instore problems.

Pros

allows for flexibility in scheduling, discounts are not too bad, especially on rexall brand products

Cons

unorganized, unfair treatment (only guys throw garbage, only girls really get to stay on cash), head office terminated two workers without any notice (they literally came in for their shift, got changed, headed onto the floor and was called to the office to receive their termination letter), pharmacist manager is a hypocrite, most workers don't even do anything, only a handful ever get work done. do not recommend working for this company.

Pros

Unionized so there is half decent pay, benefits, guaranteed hours for full time workers

Cons

Cutting hours to artificially increase profits, lack of respect for staff, did I mention lack of staff. Extended hours for no business.
