Pros

Nothing I can really think about (maybe only the flexibility to work from home)

Cons

Where should I start from? Insane KPIs. Incredible high turnover. Nearly 100 AEs hired in a month covering the same territory then the company get surprised why the majority of them didn't hit targets. No really clear sales engagement rules in place which makes hard even to understand what companies u can pitch. Very chaotic onbording process as well that, of course, has a negative impact on your performance. You spend half of your day to try onboarding new clients which is incredible hard as you'll face a lot of app bugs, so you'll need to raise tickets no stop to get things sorted. No SDR team, no marketing team, no really a customer success team. As an account executive you're in charge for everything. The management is inexperienced and unhelpful as the majority of sales managers are ex AEs got promotoed to allow the new hiring. There's probably much more to say but it was enough, I guess..

Hi! Thank you for your review! We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your experience with us. Revolut is a fast-growing and exciting business. We've achieved a lot in a very short time, and this ambitious, dynamic environment can be challenging sometimes. Our team is our most precious asset, and we never compromise on talent. We select, coach, and retain the top talent and give them all the support to achieve greatness. Our goals are discussed and agreed between line managers and employees, to make sure they’re exciting not only for the company, but for the Revoluter too. We believe that clear performance expectations help us all focus on the same priorities, and to direct teamwork effort where it's needed. We wish you the best in your next step.

Pros

Technically good engineers. That's it.

Cons

-Absolutely toxic culture Expectations to work overtime. Unrealistic deadlines. Blame falls on developers rather than managers. Demo driven development. Real problems are monkey-patched. People are treated as expendable. - Unclear path to promotion It's hit or miss. If you lucky to have a decent manager and you are ready to sacrifice your free time for work, you might get it. Or if you are long in the company. Nobody cares about your actual performance. - Company breaks their own rules Policies are changed at the will of the company with no notice. Sometimes they even change the policy for the previous period. Like backwards apply how the bonus is calculated so that you expected one thing, but got way less. - Company acts cheap They would want to cut benefits, to save a buck, while spending a fortune on an unoptimized infrastructure and process. The budgets for any kind of event is on the "mom's garage startup" level. - Toxic people Long time employees will make passive aggressive comments, if you dare to ask something. When you try to raise an issue about company behaviour, the non-affected employees will try to put the blame on you.

Pros

- Decent product - Good brand to have on CV ( I guess ) - Great pay (compared to local job market)

Cons

- Product owners don't care about team members as they are too focused in achieving the team's KPI targets. A little empathy can go long way. - Toxic Culture brewed by poor leadership - Staff turnover is extremely high

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience with us. Revolut is hugely ambitious. We work hard - and fast - to achieve our goals and most of us find that exciting, energising and a lot of fun. It can be challenging but we don't want the pace we work at to pull anyone down and we remind people to make sure they balance work with the rest of life. But we accept that the pace at Revolut might not be right for everyone. Thank you for recognising the work we've put in to build a great product. We wish you well in your future career.
