Pros

Rapid Career Growth: Because the company moves so quickly, you can gain three years of experience in one. If you perform, promotions and increased responsibilities come much faster than at traditional banks. High Talent Density: You’ll be working with some of the sharpest minds in the fintech space. The hiring bar is notoriously high, which creates a stimulating (though competitive) environment. Impact and Scale: Your work reaches tens of millions of users globally. When you ship a feature or fix a process, the scale of the impact is immediate and visible. Innovation over Bureaucracy: Unlike "Legacy" banks, Revolut prioritizes speed and data-driven decisions. There is significantly less "red tape" when trying to implement new ideas. The Brand "Exit Value": Having Revolut on your resume is a massive door-opener. It signals to the rest of the tech world that you are hardworking, resilient, and capable of operating under pressure.

Cons

High-Pressure Environment: The KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are aggressive. There is a "get it done or move aside" mentality that can lead to high stress and burnout for some. High Turnover: Because the pace is so grueling, many employees stay for 1–2 years before moving on. This can lead to a lack of institutional memory and frequent changes in leadership. Fragmented Culture: Due to the "move fast" nature, internal processes and communication can sometimes feel chaotic or decentralized, leading to occasional silos between departments. Performance-Driven (To a Fault): While meritocratic, the focus on metrics can sometimes feel cold. If you aren't hitting your numbers, there is very little "buffer" time to turn things around.
