Pros

Fast career growth Promotions can happen in 6–12 months High performers get noticed quickly if you are under the right team leader. Strong brand value Opens doors to companies like Wise, Stripe High learning exposure (especially in AML/FinCrime) Real-time transaction monitoring Exposure to fraud + compliance overlap. Smart, competitive peers Work with driven, high-performing teams. However, it is not dream team, there is no team collaboration. Everyone works for their own survival. Early ownership Handle complex cases even at junior levels

Cons

High pressure & strict KPIs PIP culture Performance Improvement Plans used frequently even during small dips in KPIs due to exceptional circumstances with proven prior track record of good performance. Often, undue pressure is used to push the employees to quit rather than undergo PIP. There is no Job stability Work-life imbalance Long hours, burnout risk Aggressive management style Very target-driven, top-down leadership Influenced by Nikolay Storonsky Frequent changes / chaos Processes, tools, policies change often Limited employee support Less structured training, minimal HR cushioning Internal mobility challenges Switching teams depends heavily on manager Pay vs stress mismatch Compensation doesn’t always match workload Repetitive ops work (FinCrime roles) High-volume case handling Risk of getting stuck in operations. They value quantity over quality. Often analysts use not so ideal methods to maintain the metrics leaving minimal scope for actual growth and learning. I have witnessed many people stuck at the same role for over 3-4 years. WFM pay cuts- I have witnessed many cases where the employee is under crisis and is going through a traumatic experience like a miscarriage. Instead of coming from a place of trust, respect and empathy...Work force management team and also the TLs, often reprimands for proof of absence immediately lacking basic humanity or respect for the situation. They justify their insensitive behaviour stating policy. NOTE TO ALL NEW JOINERS- A lot of the positive submitted reviews may not be accurate. Right after I cleared my probation, Revolut's brand team reached out to me and urged me to leave a positive review on this platform with follow ups. Please consider that if you need a whole team working on the appearances of the company by influencing the employees to leave positive reviews.... That's speaks for itself.

Pros

- Remote work flexibility - Some kind and supportive colleagues - Many internal support channels available - Benefits package seemed solid

Cons

- Probation evaluation felt highly subjective and unfair. I received contradictory feedback (green light and positive feedback in the first part). But then later on at one point I was held accountable for bad code written long before I joined, which slowed down my own assigned tasks. It left me with the impression that passing was less about my actual contributions and more about circumstances outside my control - The overall team morale was very low. Most colleagues seemed unhappy, and the only jokes they made were about how relieved they were when Friday finally arrived or that they'd prefer working in the construction industry - Workload was overwhelming. On top of your assigned tasks, you constantly had to jump in and fix urgent issues in the system, making it nearly impossible to focus. Have never seen so many issues in the production environment before - Long hours are the norm. Typical workdays stretched from 9 a.m. to 7–8 p.m., with many people working until late at night and even on weekends. The work-life balance was essentially nonexistent Advice to candidates: If you value a healthy work–life balance with self-aware individuals, you may want to consider other options. The culture here felt overly robotic and purely performance-driven, leaving little room for genuine collaboration or job satisfaction.
