Pros

Private Full family health insurance after 3-4 years. Annual performance related payment (about 1 salary) Free but bad tasting lunch Free tea. Home Service bus French course

Cons

no pay for overtime.. if you insist too much about payments for overtime. probably you loose your job. if you request off days instead of payment. ratio is 1-1. 1 off day for 1 holiday work. According to law: you must get 2 days off when you work on Sundays. No flexible hours bad management each year human resource policy changes negatively. salary cuts, performance commission cuts, benefits cuts etc no career possibility french is too much important. bad office environment. no food vending machines when you starving free coffe is prohihibited on 2013. free group/family heath insurance is now partially paid 2014. poor salary no respect to Turkish work laws (overtime) greedy directors. no respect to engineers. management treats people like they are children. Performance measurement is just a routine procedure. it is done because it has to be done or just forced by HR. There is not really a difference on points you receive between a bad or good year. The management sometimes listen you because it is forced by HR or something else. But they wont take actions againist your problem. Actually they create more problems.

Pros

in a bad way : if you become a preferred employee by the management committee members, you can spend as much money as you want and change your life !! become expatriate in a country where there is no value for the company , get high salary,... also, you can get promotions from a simple employee to director immediately !!

Cons

No ethics in this company, decisions are made based on the decision of few people who have power and are close to the president, it can be any kind of decision : it can be firing someone after being a company member for more than 10 years, after having gained awards for the company ... over there, it is so political, no ethics... you just have to obey the ones with power, otherwise your career is death. although the funny thing is that such people get fired themselves soon ! in this company which looks like dictatorship government, no one lasts long ...even the close ones to the president. there are no hirings from outside (very rare), no new ideas, no new thinkings... they bring impatriates from other countris but none of them survey in renault !! they leave all with lots of bad experiences and they join other companies right after. our team included 5 people from the high potential list, who are all gone to other companies !! management committee are so worried about their own future that they easily sacrifice their teams, put the blame on them to survive... the results are not important in this company, what is important is the communication and showing false results as well as your relationship to the president. HR role is ridiculous, nothing for the people, no respect for the employees, just following the orders of the powerful members of the executive committee. By far, this company was the worst experience I had among the 4 total auto manufacturers.
