Pros

None that I can think of. This WAS a good company to work for; post-IBM buyout, it's going down the pan (and quickly)

Cons

"Yes People" promoted to senior roles with no proven ability or aptitude. Revolving door management. A Global Leader allowed to trample all over the good work established in the UK (and who was prone to screaming fits if he didn't get his own way) where the CEO refused to believe he'd hired the wrong person until he had no choice but to fire him (here on the Monday, gone by Tuesday, spent Wednesday phoning people asking "Why was I fired?"). No clear direction. A "yes man" ay the helm in the form of Matt Hicks who does everything IBM demands. IBM cherry-picking the best Red Hat products for their own; AI is "the way forward" but the anticipated and highly probable dot.com bubble burst equivalent looming on the horizon.

Cons

If you are not a technical person, it is really hard for you to grow your career. As a stand out talent, leaders want you to stay where you are to continue to help them but that comes at a detriment to your future growth.
