Pros

- pay - surrounded by smart people - excellent PTO and year end recharge - great work/life balance

Cons

- Maternity leave got worse for any woman in sales in 2025. Basically you aren't paid on any deals that close after 90 days of leave (12 weeks), but your quota isn't decreased. So the last 6 weeks of leave you just take a huge L for your yearly quota. - The old Red Hat egalitarian culture is something of the past. Many leaders come from IBM and have a more old school approach. - Non-performance based layoffs have become more and more common.
