      Pros

      Brilliant, dedicated, and open top management and individual associates. Lots of great front-end oportunities for well-qualified candidates.

      Cons

      Some key middlemanagement closed-minded and some can be or support micro-managers. Can be extraordinarily difficult to change positions & departments - Internal-hiring is completely broken.

      Pros

      The open culture at Red Hat is a real thing and is infused in all aspects of the business. Of course that does not mean that "every" decision is made by committee. Red Hat still has a business to run so this of course makes sense. The work Red Hat is doing is relevant, industry changing and innovative. Employees are passionate and willing to challenge one another to produce their best work.

      Perks frequently do not extend beyond headquarters; benefits package is standard though does not hold a candle to other hot technology companies
