      Pros

      Red Hat is a proven leader in the Open Source community, it attracts a lot of bright people from the Linux realm. There are some extremely talented people at Red Hat, and they will gladly share their knowledge with you. Certification courses and other training courses are readily available to all employees

      Cons

      Red Hat encourages hiring based on "friend brings a friend" policy. This works for the most part but when managers bring in friends that do a poor job, this creates issues for the other employees

      Pros

      Sharing culture: promote teamwork. Very little politics, very down to earth approach, pragmatism and realism. Fast growing company but keeps respect for individual employees. Great work life balance. Great selection process brings excellent people onboard Great vision of the product leadership. Great internal education possibilities.

      Cons

      Internal processes are still a bit behind the pace the company is growing at.
