Pros

You get to work with the most exciting, adventurous, creative and high performing individuals, and there is a never a dull day. Work hard and play hard is definitely the company motto.

Cons

Work/life balance can sometimes be a struggle when interests and passions are so intermixed with work. There are many perks and assets, but many hours are also required.

Pros

Bar none, hands down one of the most innovative lifestyle marketing companies to ever exist. Once upon a time, Red Bull was the leader in innovative consumer marketing. They are always coming up with something new, different and exciting to market to it's loyal brand followers. You are definitely enabled to drive your own projects the way you want them to be complete, and your creativity is never compartmentalized into a box. As for your co-workers - these are the kind of people you WANT to be your friends: smart, engaging, a little crazy and always willing to do something that may or may not be against the rules.

Cons

No work/life balance. Compensation for work is poor, no incentive structure in marketing because "you're working at all the cool events anyway", bonus and raises are a joke. The expectation is your life is your job and your job is your life. Also - they currently have a big problem with turnover and brand v. product lovers.

Pros

Great product that sells itself.

Cons

Senior management is not transparent and has it own agenda. If you are one of the "in" people you will survive and advance in this company. If not you will not survive and will be treated like @#$%. There is a big difference between working for the distribution company or that side of the business as opposed to working for the Red Bull North America side. The distribution side does the work, is the front line to the customer and makes or breaks the company and it's success. The RB North America side takes all the credit, parties and comes to work in flip flops all while getting paid twice as much. It is all about who you know and who you are sided with in this company and the guys on the street doing the actual sales day in day out, providing customer service get treated like second class citizens and are made to feel they are extremely expendable and can be gone at any minute.
