- Pattern of lies/deception/manipulation/intimidation from upper management. Most recent example: After promising/scheduling paid time off for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, management notices lower-than-expected sales volume for month of November and hatches plan to make Black Friday an "optional" work day. Personnel, predictably, is unenthusiastic. High-ranking executive begins calling personnel individually asking why they don't want to work.
