Truly a place where you HAVE to fit the culture to find it a rewarding career.
Pros
They are a company that treats their employees very, very fairly when it comes to compensation and benefits. The experiences that you have - travel, "team building" activities are crazy fun. They get you excited about the brand and you find in no time that you're "drinking the Kool-Aid" on how Red Bull Gives wings to people and Ideas.
Cons
Management has no idea what's going on in the field. The paperwork is endless and takes sales people out of the field to the point that you don't even see accounts because you're filling out spreadsheets and updating Google Docs and getting assignments that you don't understand why they are benefiting your market or the company. You're given too many tools to "help" you sell but they are all created by people who don't understand what sales people really need to help sell. These tools are required and sales specialists are frustrated because we have too much on our plate. Management knows this and isn't doing anything beneficial to change it for the better.
