Awful! Stay away!

Pros

PTO is bad, but you'll be treated badly for taking it. You don't suffer alone. Your coworkers suffer with you. Pay is ok, but it'll probably be screwed up or not on time.

Cons

Severe micro management with endless nagging. No flexibility, terrible work environment and work culture. Go work for a startup or dell. Stay far far away for this place. You're treated like children by children. It's like working for the mean girls in junior high. It's almost comical the lack of professionalism. The girls that run the office are on the verge of an HR train wreck. The managers have no other management experience more or less work experience and don't know anything else but Randstad. You'll feel like you're on the verge of getting fired from the day you start.

Randstad US Response

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. While we would love for all of our employees to be happy and leave us 5-stars, we do understand that that is not realistic and we are grateful for any/all advice. Because your review is listed as anonymous, it is hard for us to address these issues - so if you would want to email us at at digital@randstadusa.com (with specifics, names, locations. etc..) we can do our best to make it right and address the branch managers personally. Thank you and have a great day!

Pros

You learn sense of urgency, learn to do interviews, verify references. Manage talent. Great place to get experience and get out.

Cons

Micromanagement at its finest. All they care is about numbers, nothing more embarrassing then calling clients to introduce yourself and their response is 'wow, another one. Let's see how long you'll stay'

No regard for employees

Pros

They can get you a paycheck at least.

Cons

Once you are placed on a contract position, they give no regard to you again until you become USEFUL to them once more. If you are expecting them to think of you for positions that come up that might be a better fit, or in the area you really want... forget it. And if a position comes up in an area outside of the office you currently set up with.. do NOT expect that they communicate. They could do so much better by those serving their clients than what they do by checking in with them to see how they are doing/liking the job; as well as cross-region/location communication.
