Pros

The pay is good, not worth it, but if you're desperate enough....I couldn't speak to the benefits, but other folks seem to think they were good enough. If you are already an alcoholic and are looking for more reasons to knock a few back every single night, this job will suit you. I'd say the biggest Pro, is they are a huge recognizable name and you can put in your time there and move on to something better.

Cons

Where to begin....well there's favoritism, sexual harassment from one team lead in particular towards male recruiters, you have to drink the kool-aid and spend all day talking about your nails or going to workout with the boss or you won't get ahead and they'll quickly close ranks. Yes, everyone knows agency recruiting is a grind and a tough gig, but that place is something else. Just do yourself a favor, find a different agency to work for, it's all hard but this place is filled with so much immature catty behavior that you'll question whether you are back in middle school.

Thank you for sharing such raw and honest feedback. First off, let me say we do not tolerate ANY form of harassment and really want to investigate this claim. If you don't mind, could you please email us at digital@randstadusa.com with specific occurrences you have witnessed so we can get to the bottom of it? It is not ok, and we will not accept any of our employees making people feel this way. Even though you no longer work for us, we want to apologize for you feeling this way and would like the opportunity to use your "Advice to Management" to make our offices a nicer workplace for others. Thank you for bringing all of this to our attention, and I hope to hear from you at the above email address. -Kristyn

Pros

You meet some great great colleagues but ultimately all end of leaving the company. My friendships with former coworkers is the only good thing that came out of working for this company.

Cons

Communication, especially from upper management. Safety and security of office locations. Randstad hasn't learned that being a successful Staffing Consultant or Staffing Manager doesn't mean you'll be a good Branch Manager. There is no managerial training, developing, or coaching - the ill equipped people are promoted into roles they are not ready for and probably shouldn't be in because they don't have a leadership mentality - they were just in the right place at the right time. Turnover is extremely high causing some irreparable relationships for a book of business you might be taking over. There is no plan to fix the turnover rate, just keep hiring under qualified people. I wish there wasn't a 20 word minimum...
