Pros

The base salary is more than most of the other recruiting companies here in the Raleigh area. Work life balance was okay because none of the employees actually cared about the job so they left right at 5 even if stuff still needed to be done.

Cons

company values, managers talk about different offices and different consultants constantly. Turnover in Raleigh is terrible. (7+ people have been in that office from January to July meaning they started and quit). In the interview I was told it would be easy to bonus and in fact they knew that the office was in such bad shape that we would not bonus until q1 or q2 of the following year. Then when you hit bonus, you don't receive it.

Pros

Randstad is a very large, well-known brand in the staffing industry. Their marketing team does a great job at helping consultants "get their foot in the door." They also invest a lot into training. If you've never worked in staffing before, you will feel like a pro once they're done with you. The benefits and pay are o-k, the bonus potential is usually quite good. If you want to advance, they promote very quickly (just make your new accounts for the year and show interest, that seems to be all it takes).

Cons

Horrible sales and recruiting structure. Horrible management from the very top down. They take micro-managing to a whole new level. You are responsible for documenting EVERY SINGLE THING you do and their requirements are unreasonable. On top of your sales and recruiting work, you typically have to get on some sort of daily conference call to talk with the entire district about what you've done so far, will be doing that day, and will be reporting on later in the week (because it's not enough to document it all and have reports available with the same information). If you plan to interview, ask them to explain IN DETAIL what their KPI metrics are and how you will be required to meet them. Work/life balance is non-existent- if you have a family, you'll see them on the weekends.

Pros

there are no pros to work for this company. They are always hiring because of the awful turn over rates of new and existing hires....they will expect you to work on weekends
