Pros

None. I mean absolutely none. All they care about is shoving a warm body in a position to get their commission.

Cons

They simply shove people into a position, whether it fits their skills and abilities or not. Once there, you will never hear from them again. If you complain about anything, they kick you to the curb. Then, GOOD LUCK getting your W-2. It took 8 calls to 6 different toll free numbers for me to find an automated online service to print my W-2. All combined, an horrendous employment experience

- they will place you quickly if you are not on assignment.

Cons

- they don't care about you or your career or what you want to do, they just want to place you somewhere so they get money for placement. - pay is not the best.

Pros

Recruiters tend to be fun people....you're bound to enjoy good times with some of your co-workers. Commission structure is decent, must be with company for a long time to move up.

Cons

Acquired too much, too fast and in doing so, became a sterile corporate structure. Some of the best managers left, top producers left.....people became more of a number than a person.
