Pros
Got me a job immediately. Most of these agencies are a waste of time. Randstad had me working immediately. I'm registered with multiple agencies, and Randstad is far and above superior to any of the others. Lisa at Randstad not only helped me find a position, she took my case personally and helped me tweak my resume to the position. I was hired immediately, and I know Lisa Alvarado was the main reason this happened. I couldn't have done it on my own, and certainly not through the majority of other agencies out there.
Cons
You have to drive to Los Angeles to sign paperwork etc...No biggy. Easily worth the drive to meet the people here who worked so hard to find me a position. I would be happy to make the drive anytime, knowing I'm dealing with placement professionals who actually do their job and take it seriously.
