Pros

I joined because I wanted to work on complex problems with a small team, and that's what I got. Design is a core tenet of the company and I'm proud to have a seat at the table. The talent here is ridiculously smart, but everyone remains humble and kind. I feel like my manager has my back and invests in my development at every turn. The department manager strikes an impressive balance between being challenging and understanding. He knows when and how to push without going overboard. Additionally, the pay is competitive, and so is the equity. Lastly, the industry is just ripe for innovation. I know Ramp's valuation is high and you might be questioning whether it's too late, but think about it this way: finance and accounting teams have been using abysmal software for far too long. Think Concur, Coupa, Excel, Amex Cards. Designers have Figma, Engineers have Github, Sales has Gong... but Finance & Accounting? No one has tried to design for them because it's hard. Until Ramp, that is.

Cons

The workload can sometimes be a lot, but I purposefully signed up for this and wanted it. Besides, I'm not talking about 60 hour weeks where I work evenings and weekends. There's still work-life balance, but I'm not twiddling my thumbs during the day. For me, boredom kills confidence. I need to stay busy and engaged to be doing a good job, so if that's you as well, then you'll enjoy Ramp.

Pros

Quick growth within CX Work from anywhere Decent pay

Cons

This company promotes its “family-oriented” culture, but you have to fit their mold. The time off policy is a joke. Instead of having a set amount of sick time, they have scheduled and unscheduled PTO. You’re in trouble if you’re sick too many times or need too many personal days off.
