      Big name, but poor conditions and inefficient upper-management

      -Multicultural team -Mostly young, supportive and easygoing colleagues, including the low-level managers -Work from home possible

      Cons

      -Poor upper-management and traditional top-down approach -Very low salary for the region -Numerous IT-related technical issues, which remain unattended -Heavy understaffing -Huge workload and very high levels of stress -US over-centralised management -No benefits -Extremely corporative environment with many pointless meetings and monthly reports that only demotivate employees who see the company's increasignly growing turnover (achieved through their ever-expanding workload), while their input not being remunerated accordingly -

      Pros

      If you want a steady day-to-day job and aren't looking to accomplish anything significant, this is the place to be.

      Cons

      After the merger with SDL, it became a ridiculously coprorate environment. Nobody wants to make positive changes. Most management positions have people who aren't particularly bright, but they keep things moving forward.

      Meeting many new people, chance to use language skills

      Cons

      Outdated workplace practices, checking would be done using paper and pen, no computers. Constantly having to go up and down the building to collect new translation to check and deliver them back. Monitored based on linespeed which causes stress as if you fall below a certain speed you are then called in for a meeting to explain why. Severely underpaid for what they expect from you. No chances for progression, but in the interview you are made to believe there are.
