Pros

- Decent salary. - Good benefits package, where it offers many choices for medical healthcare plans, and vision & dental are included. There's also a 401K plan. - Fair amount of PTO and paid holidays. - Younger crowd is fun and great to work with. - Large amount of diversity promotion and various events to make things more enjoyable at work.

Cons

- Too much pressure at work. Can be stressful most of the time. - Expectations from management are often times unreasonable. - Not much training for newer people. - Not much respect from senior employees toward younger ones. - Many unreasonable idiosyncrasies such as having to work overtime without getting overtime paid unless coming in on the weekends. - Working with outdated technology that are not useful anywhere else.

Pros

This is a very large division of a large company. There are lots of opportunities to do lots of different things, especially if you are an engineer. People are generally treated fairly and it is hard to complain about the 9/80 work week. Overtime is not generally expected, and Tucson is a good place to raise a family.

Cons

Advancement and raises are based as much on who you know and how long you have been in your current position than how competent you are. It is easy to get lost in the crowd if you don't know how to take control of your career. The city of Tucson can be oppressively hot in the summer and doesn't really have a lot of activities to keep childless people occupied.

Pros

Fairly liberal in accomodating needs, good pay, flexible schedule, opportunities for growth, stable work, multiple locations so you can live almost anywhere in the greater Boston area and work here.

Cons

Matrix organization results in multiple bosses all wanting highlights, financial status, plans, metrics, and presentations. In fact the reporting and financial control process takes up more time than the work. Limited training due to overhead budget contraints, no formal new hire mentoring and training. Extremely limited professional development opportunities due to low overhead budgets. Every high performer is overloaded with work, and there skaters do nothing but are rewarded due to politics.
