Ok place to work, but little future for a career

Pros

Due to my security clearance and shift work the pay is great, much more than a new grad could expect otherwise.

Cons

Shift work requires you to nearly give up any social life you have. Getting time off can be difficult. Internal job openings seem to be a formality, they already know who they are giving the job to, this makes for a frustrating experience and gives little hope for moving up in the company.

Fantastic work vs. life balance One week paid vacation between Christmas and New Years. In general PTO accrues very fast. Great location if you want to live near the beach Flex-time is always a plus Overtime is minimal, if not non-existent

Cons

Underpaid Talent level for skill fields is weak Drab work environment Heavy emphasis on "punch-in, punch-out" discourages employee collaboration and mingling Competition amongst different business groups working on similar projects Very corporate
