Pros
The pay and benefits are good, even though they're continually being cut back as companies race to the bottom. That's the only reason I stayed for so long, even though for years I dreaded getting out of bed on weekday mornings.
Cons
The environment encourages managers to devote themselves to political turf battles, in which employees are mere pawns. No promotion from within, either; when an opening exists they always bring in someone from outside who knows nothing.
