      Pros

      Smart, hard-working people that care about what they are doing. Clean, quiet, and friendly work environment. Generous benefits package. Thoroughly enabled to do my job efficiently (e.g. laptop, cell phone, office) Lots of resources available to employees via EMC.

      Cons

      The looming acquisition by Dell is a bit of a distraction (and we're told that benefits may not be as good post-sale).

      Pros

      This company has a great inclusive/ community culture. Many people at the company care about customer success and doing the right thing by the customer and the employees. In addition, as part of EMC, they offer fantastic health and retirement benefits!

      Cons

      Like most large and/ or well-established companies, there's no shortage of bureaucracy. And, while the company seems to be in a constant state of change, it can be challenging to move fast enough to stay competitive in the market.
