Pros

-Good product ideas -Techfest -Local management listen -Nice coworkers -Possibilities to travel if you want to

Cons

-Poor planning leads to creation of problems in other departments - Lack of Product Testing means customer find easy bugs -Netwitness is hard to use -Product Management is remote and don't provide feedback on ideas -Problems are not solved which leads to high turnover of staff due to frustration -Local management do their best but seem constricted as they are not in the US -Customers are not listened to -All problems end in the Support department to solve, even though good product design would have removed them. As a consequence support is burnt out. -Always firefighting rather than solving problems before they happen -Products are silo-ed and don't integrate easily together

Pros

Very flexible with schedule and hours As a student job it's great pay Good insight into the industry No prior experience required Pretty good training program

Cons

Slow to get things done. Software is slow and tends to break. No benefits. Only able to work while a student. Management is often stuck in old methods. Not really open to new ideas or change unless it's their own ideas. No involvement in the company as a whole. Technically you work for RSA but the only way to know that is to see it on your badge and paycheck.

Pros

Good Training. Solid opportunity to move up internally because they don't really hire externally for any leadership positions for inside sales. Great place to start because of the opportunities it will offer elsewhere.

Cons

No opportunity to go field, and those who did get promoted to field (4 in 2 years) were put in a position to fail (2 were laid off, 1 left on his own, 1 still there). The products are outdated, and marketing and sales don't work together. A lot of promotions are just a result of waiting your turn for the opportunity to open up as opposed to competing for them as they don't even really interview outside candidates. The entire Sales Leadership staff has changed in the past year and a half so there's a lot of uncertainty there as well (President gone, EVP of Worldwide Sales gone, AVP of Americas Sales gone, AVP of Global Sales gone, The entire Channels Team gone).
