Really high pay with a lack of respect

Pros

they pay really well, and sometimes i enjoyed the technical retouching challenges. overtime can result in very high wages. very high on the pay scale for a consistent retouching job, and raises do happen.

Cons

they don't treat the workers well, lots of overtime thats pressured, no remote options, no benefits, frustrating management with constant directional changes. they keep almost the entire creative department employed through a staffing agency to keep them off the books for investors or whatever, and so they can just drop huge numbers of people on a whim.

Pros

We make beautiful products and galleries. They are above and beyond normal retail experiences.

Cons

Work insane hours. Regularly there are meetings until 7,8, and even midnight /1am. Work life balance is not an option, as you are expected to be on call at all times. There is no training or set processes. Lack of true leadership and accountability.

Pros

Coworkers were wonderful. They hire great people. Clean office space with snacks at 2:30 everyday and an onsite gym. Good commute if you live in Marin.

Cons

Very little work/life balance. Turnover is very high! Hybrid work is not an option at all. If you are sick, then you work from home. No real sick day. Old school mentality. Two full days of orientation about their values and where you should get a good idea of the cult you are now in. Hostile and toxic environment. Abusive management, people seen crying coming out of certain offices. No 401k match, 6 holidays a year. Couldn't get out fast enough. Youth obsessed CEO.
