Pros

They take the time to hire very personable people. The Leaders are typically terrific people and great motivators. Unfortunately, they do not have the authority to reward the employees monetarily. They have the hardest job of all. They are tasked with the performance requirements, but not given the latitude to offer incentives or anything of value in return. I truly enjoyed my co- workers but we ALL felt the same dissatisfaction. I do not consider myself a disgruntled employee and left for a much better job. I would definitely have stayed if the employer/employee arrangement were more equitable. This company has so much potential. Their designs are really unique and VERY popular. The products sell themselves. The customer service reps are also typically very well trained and accommodating.

Cons

The problem is that they break down the employees with the lousy pay and ridiculous expectations!!!! This is a joke. They also will keep your hours down to below full-time status to avoid paying benefits. It's all about what can you do for them and no mention of what they can do for you. The "leaders" will send a starving sales person home 1 or 2 hours early to save the company $20 when that employee is already barely existing on the low hours and pay. Also, the customer dissatisfaction was off the charts. Instead of directing problems immediately to Customer Service as they should be the poor associates are often left to clean up someone else's mess. Gary what's his name is trying so hard to be a Ralph Lauren wanna be it is laughable. If he spent as much time taking care of his employees as he does posing for pictures things would be much different.This company needs to revamp the HR department. Class would be quite far down on the list of pro's.

High expectation of experience/background: ie college grad with interior design degree, very unrealistic pay
