Pros

The company has an amazing product line. Discounts for associates - very good. Depending on who you work for, you have opportunities to floursih and grow your skill set.

Cons

Does not match 401K, High Turnover, Love us or leave us attitude. Governs by intimidation and chaos. Its a popularity contest there. If you are part of the "In" crowd you are safe...for a while

Pros

amazing sample sales (but only about twice a year), beautiful corporate office, pay is decent (but not nearly enough when you consider all the negatives!!)

Cons

company has no respect for work/life balance, high turnover, a lot of unhappy & frustrated people, limited benefits (no 401K match) and few holidays, incompetent and bully executives keep getting promoted and never reprimanded. Negative and reactive culture. Culture is very pretentious, but there are a few gems of coworkers who are "normal" (but most leave!). To survive you have to have a very thick skin. Little opportunity to move up unless you leave or switch departments.

Pros

You work with lots of very nice people. There is no commission so you are not too cut throat.

Cons

As a designer you have no time to cultivate your clients off the floor. Only the exempt designers get to go to their clients house. I was told you had to sell 3Million to become exempt. Management really does not support designers as far as space to work privately and make calls. There is no time for follow up and customer service does not communicate with us when orders are changed or delayed.
