Pros

Great products, some middling despite usually-deserved excellent reputation. Paints and upholstery products excellent. Great custom products, sofas especially. Recommend to anyone. Wage was okay, benefits were good.

Cons

Management culture was high-pressure. The smiles were often forced. SM's were often very good, DM, in my opinion, was a terror. Lead through inspiration not perspiration; people work better when they're inspired by good leadership, not in fear of losing their job. Delivery system was often short-cut for floor sets, leading to inventory problems which fell on the store to account and resolve. Regional delivery system needed serious work.
