Pros

- Great company mission to reform the home sales and homeownership experience. - At REX's core is helping consumers and saving them money. - Admirable social mission. REX, as a company, makes sure they give back to non-for-profits.

Cons

- It is not easy. Have to be available for clients even during off-hours. - The company moves fast, which can affect communication. - Lots of new initiatives are started quickly, which can be tough to balance.

A rewarding part of my career

Pros

REX was a great place to work. It is full of people who reinforce a positive mindset and who enjoy accomplishing big goals. During my time at REX, I was blessed to have a number of great mentors who saw the best in me. My mentors and managers worked with me to make my best qualities a part of my daily routine. I have learned skills that will last me throughout my career, and I enjoyed going to work every day. I also made friends that made hard work feel rewarding and not like a daily grind. REX is a company founded on a bold idea with a strong social mission, and in virtually all client facing roles you are able to speak and help people on a human level. If you are creative and ambitious and want to up your sales game, REX is a place to help you get there.

Cons

REX is taking on some pretty big special interests and lobbying groups, and they see REX as a threat to the way that they do business. So it's gone through the kinds of turbulence that you can expect from a startup with an aggressive agenda. But I was impressed with the ways in which REX has been able to adapt to changing conditions. REX is also a fast paced environment, so if you work here you'd better not be afraid of change, but that's exactly why it has helped me grow so much as an employee and a salesperson. The fast pace comes with a culture that picks you up and keeps you focused on the team goals. And that helped me have fun at my job.

Pros

I was lucky enough to work on a team that was great at communicating and always willing to help

Cons

Company has no idea which direction it’s going, constantly changing procedures and creating unrealistic quotas teams.
