Pros

I work from home. Pay a "desk fee" to RE/MAX. Having the name to work with has made my life as a Realtor a whole lot easier. The thing about just paying a fee to this Brokerage is it weeds not those who cannot sell real estate. Those who can make a great living. Easy simple and works.

Cons

Not good for those who cannot be self employed.

Pros

Independence, great name brand recognition.

Cons

Every office varies but mostly you need to handle all marketing and admin work on your own.

Pros

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Although each branch is very different I feel that realtors and admin alike were always helpful.

Cons

There is not a lot of room for growth within the company. You have to go into the job knowing that you are essentially your own boss and are in control of your income.
