Pros
Turn around time for testing is pretty good. When staffed accordingly and employees are actually performing in there roles professionally, the site can meet the needs of the patients. Coverage is not consistent and this is fostering unprofessional behaviors by phlebotomist
Cons
Employees are constantly complaining about patients, having one on one conversations with each other in the hallways. Some language is foul and not acceptable. Some employees will sit in drawing rooms with feet up on chairs in between patients and be on cell phones. Some techs disappear off the unit to conduct personal calls with no regard of patients waiting in waiting room. Current employees discuss looking for new jobs and constantly threaten to leave the company. And patients can over hear these discussions. HIPAA violations occur everyday because of how loud they are speaking to patients in drawing rooms.
