Quest Diagnostics truly stands out as an employer that invests in its people. The company provides excellent opportunities for career growth with structured development programs, internal mobility, and mentorship support. Employees are encouraged to upskill, take on new challenges, and explore cross-functional roles. Leadership is approachable and values long-term employee success. The culture promotes continuous learning and professional development, making it a great place to build a lasting career.

Cons

Like any large organization, processes can sometimes be slow due to scale, but the growth opportunities and support systems outweigh this.

HORRIBLE HOURS

Pros

Great health benefits, tuition reimbursement, there's a gym at the Clifton location.

Cons

Still so confused why workers are required to take on a 6th shift every 2 weeks? OT should be volunteer - they keep harping on about people's mental and overall health but every 2 weeks, people must work another full shift on top of their 40 hours which, by the way, is never actually 40 hours because they pressure you to stay longer than that. I get the work is important as it is in medical field... if the specimen processers are supposed to work like nurses do as in they can't leave just because the time is over if something has to be done, then maybe pay them more.
