Pros

competitive, smart environment, quality driven, resourceful, good compensation, competitive technologies, high class products.

Cons

not too many negatives for a high tech company that competes in a global environment with stringent deadlines and competitive pressure. More decisiveness on road map would help.

Pros

Large network, great people, flexible hours, variety of projects/technologies, pay is decent and the benefits are still good though not what they once were.

Cons

Benefits are changing. Recently went from two performance-based raises/bonuses per year to one per year (starting in 2016). Also, due to Fall 2015 layoffs employee moral is down. Over the past few years we've seen most of our "fun money" cut from the budget. Rare but boring offsite team builders, no company sponsored happy hours, no company sponsored lunches, and no large company holiday parties. Flashback to 5 years ago when we had Dave Matthews play our company-wide 25th anniversary party...those were the days!

Pros

Pay is market rate, benefits are decent for a large company, the corporate culture varies widely depending on the division you are in.

Cons

Reduced the overall benefits package including reducing the medical benefits. Not the retention tool it once was. Some divisions demand very long hours including weekends and holidays. No longer the job security it once was.
