It’s a well established hardware company. The toolflow and infrastructures are all well maintaineed. Engineers overall are talented and down to earth.

Cons

The company failed to really expand to adjacent markets. It relies too much on it’s licensing business. Not enough determination and execution to diverse it’s business model.

Relaxed and informal atmosphere, good people, some very talented, great city. Great benefits including medical insurance, vision, dental, 401k, ESPP, gym, swimming pool. Salary is good for San Diego region.

Cons

Can be too laid back at times, at other times too much pressure. The company has been expanding rapidly overseas, but US locations have had layoffs.
