Pros

QAD used to be headquartered in the US. I worked there 25 years. Every employee there had been a long-timer, as it was a wonderful work environment with team and coworker collaboration. Felt like family.

Cons

Once the Private Equity firm bought QAD, the US offices were closed and most offices globally were closed too. A new headquarters was created in Mexico with new employees who did not possess the depth of knowledge required to support such complicated ERP software. QADs customers paid the price and were left high and dry, along with all the QAD employees that were laid off with no notice.

I am sorry to here you are no longer at QAD. QAD is still headquartered in the US in Santa Barbara, CA. We have closed several physical offices in the US as part of our move to a Virtual First Company. However, many of those employees are still with QAD. Employees do not need to go into offices because they work from home. We also have employees in Mexico and many other countries around the world.

Great teamwork Understands work life balance overseas travelling opportunities pay scale is decent as compared to other organisations

Cons

Leadership confused about asian market growth not well planned strategies for south asian countries too much pressure on account/ sales manager without structured support for lead generation customers are not well informed and haphazardly handled by several teams
