QA Response

Thanks for the feedback and sorry to hear your experience at QA hasn’t been the norm. We pride ourselves on the training in niche technologies, the support we provide to our consultants and the opportunities that we offer to progress their careers. Most of the time we achieve this and the reviews on Glassdoor hopefully supports this view. Therefore, we are disappointed to hear that you felt your experience wasn’t up to this high standard. If you would like to get in touch by contacting QACfeedback@qa.com we will look into the circumstances and see how we can improve our processes.

Pros

The academy provides top class training in highly sought after technologies, and has some fantastic clients nationwide that wouldn't be accessible anywhere else. The atmosphere around the office is friendly and inclusive, and any colleague whether it be a Director, trainer, fellow trainee or office staff are approachable and personable. We are encouraged to be ourselves, and are given every opportunity to develop not only technically but also personally, and professionally. In all seriousness, this is a great opportunity.

Cons

The hardest part of the job is the 3 months unpaid training, but this is easily mitigated by the great accommodation that is provided free of charge and the good salary prospects upon completion. Some people find the fact that the possibility of working anywhere around the country is a bit of an issue, but anyone serious about a good career with a great client would be willing to overlook this.

Pros

QA offers a relaxed environment where you learn professional and technical skills, and once in a lifetime opportunities. The training team are knowledgeable and approachable, and the graduates that you work with are friendly and fun.

Cons

You need to be able to be unpaid for 12 weeks whilst training, but accommodation is provided, and the salary & job opportunities after training more than make up for this.
