      Good Starter job

      Pros

      Good starter job in London as a Junior instructional design. Good fun team. Flexible with hybrid working.

      Cons

      Salary was quite low. Considering travel into London, there wasn't much help. Also there was a lack of career progression.

      Chaotic, stressful and cliquey

      Pros

      Free coffee machine and biscuits. Modern looking offices.

      Cons

      I suffered from a mental breakdown just a couple of months into the role due to the toxic atmosphere and bullying culture. Management weren't receptive to new ideas and just needed to prove ROI to the senior financial management team. The role wasn't as advertised and there was little in the way of support. I was a little sceptical about things when more people were leaving than starting when I did. It's sad that the company is run this way, valuing profit over people.
