Pros

It's a great company for those who like to work hard and reap the benefits. Excellent performance is rewarded and there are many opportunities for growth. Senior management listens when you express your desire to grow and develop your career, and while there have been struggles as with any JV startup, it's nice to see the milestones that have been achieved and the positive changes that are being communicated for the future of the company. The people you work with are amazing and the work itself is rewarding.

Cons

There are processes, benefits and things that can use improvement, but every company has room for growth and I like that at Q2, the leadership team takes time to listen and takes steps to make those improvements.

Pros

Relationships with co-workers across several laboratory department and functional groups. Integrity of the lab teams to provide quality results. I was very happy with the goals and mission of Quintiles and felt a part of the clinical trials community to help our clients bring safe and beneficial products to market. Stressful, at times, but very much a team effort and overall positive attitudes throughout the company especially before Quintiles merged with Quest to become Q2 Solutions in 2015.

Cons

Merger transferred the Analytical clinical laboratory workload to California or Scotland. Inconsistent dialogue across the funtional departments- SILO effect regarding communication especially between the Project Services teams to Lab Management( Pre-Analytical & Analytical teams). Project Service members with minimal clinical lab or science backgrounds and inconsistent training for these new hires. Benefits and incentives lessened drastically with the merger.

Pros

There are amazing people working in there. It was fun and nice office in certain office in some regions but certainly not Japan.

Cons

Too many system issues never get resolved completely. Turnover rate could be considered high in some departments.
