Pros

Many opportunities for personal development and appropriate training. The Company has an unlimited amount of training programs and classes with a steep learning curve which benefits career development.

Cons

The Company tends to allow dead weight to stick around. They seem to be moving to a more high performing culture but historically lower performers have been allowed to remain in place and as such they take a salary from the same compensation pool thus lower others total compensation. Seems to have been a more peanutbutter approach (spread).

Pros

Opportunities for growth and networking. There's a whole lot of opportunity to network with others within or outside of your division. The company provides many out-of-office activities.

Cons

Long hours, work not challenging or intellectually stimulating. The long hours are expected any time you work in an external consulting environment. This comes with the territory of a Big 4. They do try to help though by offering flexible summer hours, work from home opportunities, etc. But expect to put in at least 50-55 hours per week. Also, unless you're into accounting, the work is not stimulating. This sounds obvious given it's a Big 4, but many don't realize that going in.
