Pros

Employees are intellectually challenged. Written guidance was readily available as reference purposes.

Cons

Managers weren't necessarily the best managers in terms of people skills. They did, however, possess intellectual ability. Some managers were never present in the office or at the client, so staff sometimes weren't sure with what exactly the manager's job responsibilities were. Some senior associates did not necessarily have the necessary skills to provide guidance to new hires.

Pros

PricewaterhouseCoopers is a great place to work for entry level accountants looking to gain a vast amount of knowledge in a short amount of time. I would vouch that PWC is a good place to work for other than entry level, but I would not want to step outside of what I know (being entry level). The atmosphere is also very comfortable to be in, and you will find it very easy to make friends in no time. I don't know where my career will take me, but for now I see no reason that it won't be with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Cons

It's not so much the downsides of working at PWC, but instead the downsides of being an accountant in general--long hours, busy days, etc. But then again, everybody should know and accept this fact before they puruse this career.

Pros

Work/Life balance, promotion opportunities, the people, office environment, great clients. As an intern I was able to really get a great idea of what I would be doing every day if I accepted the job. I was treated as an actual associate. I was always busy doing things and being useful, not just sitting watching. I was given audit responsibilities that were soley my responsibility which made me feel valued and trusted.

Cons

commute into the city, but really i have not worked there long enough to find any downfalls of the company.
