Pros

Great opportunities to understand different business models in various industries. Foreseeable career development in the first five years, If you are doing OK, the firm would promote you each year from A2 to SA1, which means your salary would increase 20% or more each year. Very professional life for a fresh graduate, you have opportunities to work with fortune 500 companies, to understand different business, to travel to different places, to enjoy your life with your teammates. Just like have another 5 years college life. Moreover, PwC integrates global learning and training resources for different level employees, you would have high quality training programs for your career development.

Cons

First, no good life/work balance. Sometimes have to work more than 90 hours per week. Especially during the peak season and IPO projects. There are is almost no room for your personal life. Second, Top management don't have competency to manage the fast growing firm. They are auditors and good leader for a team, but definitely not a good leaders for a group or firm. When comparing with other top companies in the world, the efficiency and the style of management in PwC can not match its well-known brand. Most of time, associates and managers don't like their boss-- Partners.
