Pros
Well it gives you a career edge. Mostly because of the brandname which the firm has. However, therez the trainings and all of that. Its fair enough.
Cons
So much work but thats fine only if the pay is commensurate which isnt. Staff retention is very poor, these days before you can wink therez someone else resigning. Work life balance, thats something i still havent experienced, how possible is it to balance work and life when you close late nights and you can take days off because therez some 'audit 'waiting with an incredible deadline. Expertise in assurance, great...advisory however is not very far from disappointing. How do you advise on matters you have no expertise in...thats the joke of the century. All this gets you asking...is this just the local practice or what is obtainable world wide?
