      PwC is a great employer, but be prepared for compliance and red tape

      Pros

      The firm works very hard to provide a team oriented environment that rewards excellence and provides regaular performance and coaching feedback. Further, it is not overyly caught up with titles, but rather takes a nice team approach to meeting client needs.

      Cons

      Due to the accounting focus of the firm, it is laden with red tape for some of the simplest tasks. This makes the organization a little slow to change and adapt to market conditions and client needs.

      Pros

      The firm is well respected and well connected. It offers fantastic on the job training opportunities for interacting with clients. It's a challenge - there are many long days, but the firm recognizes that and in the 'off season' the job is quite flexible. Compensation seems competitive. However, from what I gather, does not seem to increase as much as you would expect until you hit the manager level. You don't really have a 'boss' in the traditional sense because you're often switching teams.

      Cons

      Audit work is seldom interesting. Projects are often understaffed which leads to an imbalance of hours.
